Kerala handloom, one of the most distinguished creations of the state possessing all of its authenticity in its workmanship, holds a GI tag for each of its unique varieties in varied locations from Thiruvananthapuram to the north most district, Kasargod. All of these handloom centers have their own distinctive character with respect to the fabric hand, designs, production methods as well as their, background and environment. Each of these regions also stands out with its own strengths and opportunities. However, briefing the study on handloom across Kerala, which was done on an all total level has pointed out certain shortcomings faced by this sector due to numerous problems like lack of wages, which is gradually resulting in labor loss, lack of advancements, and explorations. These setbacks to some extent can be solved by gaining more reach and attention towards this sector, which has become the major objective of the proposed video clip on a handloom. Integrating the key elements of the environmental study like workspace setting, lighting and character features of each of the handloom sectors is the attempt carried out here to evoke the emotion of this craft.
